LOTUS x ATLAS 2022 Litter

Born July 8, 2022 – 2 Males & 3 Females

Lotus & Atlas had 5 beautiful fat healthy shades of blue babies.

Lotus has been an excellent momma and the babies are strong, eating, gaining, and doing wonderfully.

Kipo’s babies in order from left to right: Kenji (chocolate & tan), Keeva (lilac & tan), Kanye (Urajiro), K-Pop (Blue & Tan), Kai (Standard Fawn), Kari or Kaeden ( both are Black &b Tan so it’s hard to tell from this pic) and Kane (Blue Urajiro) is hiding in there.

Our girl Kipo & our Super Texas Frenchie Stud Dillon graced us with 9 beautiful french bulldog babies March 18, 2022.

Sadly we lost Kratos a few hours after arriving home. He came into the world struggling to wake up all the way in addition he was incredible itty bitty small.  He was loved, held, and kept warm for his short little life. The other 8 babies are doing very well. Kipo is a friggin’ natural! She is a phenomenal momma and is full of rich nutritious colostrum.

Can you believe of the 9 puppies they had that 8 of them were boys and only 1 little girl!!!?

Kipo’s babies Kanye (Red Urajiro) and Kaeden (Black & Tan)

This has to be the most colorful yet consistent litter I’ve ever had from a first time Momma! We have standard fawn, urajiro fawn/red, blue urajiro, lilac and tan, blue and tan, black and tan, and chocolate and tan.

We are very excited to watch this litter grow and develop. We are grateful to Kipo & Dillon for such gorgeous and strong babies.

Kipo is a Urajiro French Bulldog tending to her new french bulldog litter which also has 2 Urajiro babies in it.

NOLA x FRYE 2022 Litter

Born Jan 10, 2022 – 3 Females & 1 Male

Nola & Frye had 5 puppies but sadly one was born already crossed over. This is Nola’s final breeding. She brought home 1 boy and 3 girls.

For available puppies and photos, you can see our current Available French Bulldog Puppies Page.

Brooke & Cash had a beautiful litter of 5 males and 3 females on Christmas Day 2021. Unfortunately 1 little girl did not make it home from the hospital and we lost one little boy Bruno that was very touch and go as he is but a few ounces in size and didn’t progress much the first week of life. He sadly passed at home.

We are grateful for the 6 little cream puffs that remain and are doing well. Sometimes with raising these little babies this is how it goes. Bruno was a favorite and will be very much missed.

For available puppies and photos, you can see our current Available French Bulldog Puppies Page.

Bazil & Dillon had one adorable little brindle boy November 13, 2021. He is a healthy well feed little chubby puppy.

It appears that Bazil is one of those mommas that produces singletons. This is her 2nd litter and her 2nd puppy. She does make some absolutely gorgeous babies though.

He has been reserved and is moving to Pflugerville, Texas with the Flowers Family.

For more puppies on our current available french bulldog puppies for sale and photos, you can see our current Available French Bulldog Puppies Page.

This litter with Hona, we wanted to try something a little different. We reached out to Texas Sized Frenchies for their boy Cinco’s service.

Hona & Cinco welcomed welcomed 3 boys and 1 girl to the world on November 10th, 2021.

Sadly the little girl did not make it leaving her 3 brothers earth side. Of the remaining blue and merle french bulldog puppies we have 1 blue fawn and 2 blue merles.

This is our very first litter of merle french bulldogs an so far, I must say they are pretty dang cute. They sure are easy to tell apart from one another that’s for sure. 🙂

Hona is doing wonderfully as expected. She is such a great momma. We look forward to watching these adorable babies grow.

For more puppies and photos, you can see our current Available French Bulldog Puppies Page.

Ahsoka x Dillion Babies

Ahsoka & Dillon had 6 babies on September 16, 2021. They had 4 girls & 2 boys all in varying shades of blue French Bulldogs from Lilac, to Blue & Tan, to Blue Fawn.

They had 6 adorably cuddly and insanely snuggly french bulldog puppies. These babies have been a joy to care for. They started off super strong and active eaters. Ahsoka has taken to be a new mom with ease. Not all frenchies take to their babies so well, we are super proud of this first time mommy. She has certainly made our jobs much easier which is a much welcomed experience after our last batch of babies.

Alvin, Arman, Appa, Asui, Asami & Aloe.

Hula’s final litter was supposed to be with Bam Bam. A gorgeous red pied French Bulldog I have been waiting for quite a while to use. During her early  breeding with the shipped semen I had a gut feeling to cover her with Dillion also on the last day of her fertility window. Even though her numbers were pretty high, they were a 30, I am still learning this new progesterone machine and the way it reads & produces with my girls bloodwork. I’m grateful I did because turns out she not only become pregnant, but with 7 beautiful babies! The kicker is though, sadly none of them were Bam Bam babies. Hula & Dillion blessed us with a final litter together of 2 girls and 5 boys. To go out with a bang, Hula decided to birth one of the babies at home in her whelping box.

The silver lining, even though none were Bam Bam babies, in this very last litter Hula gave me a little solid blue girl, the first to be birthed naturally by her at home. That is significant because I have wanted a solid blue female for as long as I wanted a French Bulldog… a very very long time now. So while I did not get any Bam Bam babies, we did add a potential new momma to the future of our program.

One strong little chocolate and tan male, appropriately named Hei Hei, was having trouble with some residual fluid in his lungs and airways when we made it home. For a good 30+ mins I was working feverishly to clear his airway and get his breathing stabilized. He scared the bajeezus out of me the several times he stopped breathing due to chocking on amniotic fluid left over from the C-section. Fortunately he is one of the biggest in the litter, solid and strong.

We also do have 1 extremely small runty girl named Harper. I am not sure if she will actually make it at the time of this writing as she is barely 3 ounces at birth and I am terrified of how small she will actually get knowing that the first couple days they lose before they start gaining good. For now, after the freight Hei Hei gave me upon arriving home, all is well and everyone is alive.

Mamba & Party Monster had 8 beautiful puppies June 30th, 2021 around 2:35 am! Yes 8!!! This is our largest litter to date and the very first litter timed and bred with our new in house progesterone machine.

There are 5 females and 3 males in this litter ranging from chocolate fawn & brindle to standard fawn and brindle. The chocolate was a complete surprise to us because we did not expect Party Monster to carry coco, nor did his breeder as he is from standard lines and the coco testing was not available when he was tested. A pleasant surprise to us both as he has been officially tested and is indeed a coco carrier.

chocolate fawn french bulldog with her fawn puppiesThese beautiful babies arrived June 2, 2021. We welcomed 3 fawn females and 1 fawn male into the world around 9 am.

Momma and babies are now 1 week old and doing wonderfully. All of these puppies are reserved via our waiting list or breeder’s pick as we will be holding back from this litter. We will not be making our picks until around 6 weeks of age.

The little boy is a solid little fawn nugget and matches one of his sisters. The other two girls have more sable in their coat including one of the girls is also a pied!

All of Nola’s French Bulldog Puppies in Texas are reserved. Our current reservation waiting list is to about Summer/Fall of 2021. You can get on that list and find out more information on our process by visiting our Puppy Application page.

We took another little mini road trip down to the Houston, Texas area on Jan 10th & picked up this beautiful little red urajiro french bulldog puppy. We have been looking to add a urajiro french bulldog for several years now and we are so very excited and happy to have been able to add this girl this year. We have named her Kipo after one of our favorite American animations Kipo & the age of Wonderbeasts.

We are excited to watch her grow. She is a beautiful little sweet girl that is slowly gaining weight and learning the lay of the land. She has acclimated to the family pretty nicely so far and is learning that the Chickens and Farm Cats are our friends… and not living live action chew toys.

We’d like to introduce you to our newest addition. We picked her up on Jan 3rd from the College Station, Texas area. She is a beautiful Fawn Pied girl with the sweetest disposition. She is a proven female and we are ecstatic to have her on the team. She makes some of the cutest little pied nuggets I have ever seen!

She has acclimated very well so far and is a huge hit with the kids. So far she respects the farm cats, almost as if she is scared of them haha, but is not quite sure yet what to make of the chickens.

We are very much looking forward to little blue and fawn pied babies in the near future from her. She is due to come into season this Spring 2021! We will be updating our Planned Breedings page for texas french bulldog puppies coming with her info soon.

Layla was showing very slow subtle signs of labor that might have been missed if I were still new to this. Her temp was maintaining  steady but slowly over the course of 2 days she had one sign after another but very subtly.

Layla & Spock had 5 beautiful puppies on November 23, 2020. 4 Females and 1 Male. We are so very grateful for the full sized healthy litter.

Layla came out of her c-section like a champ waking up and immediately looking for her babies. She has been an excellent mother keeping her puppies well fed and strong. She is such a great momma and loves her babies very much.

Blue & Lilac French Bulldog Puppies in TexasLouie is the lone male. He is a blue fawn and will end up looking just like his momma. Luna is more of a Lilac or Lilac fawn, it’s hard to tell for sure for her color will mature into this early. The other 3 girls Lupe, Lani, & Leah are beautiful blue frenchie girl puppies.

This is Layla’s last litter that we co-own with Blue Ribbon French Bulldogs. We (Blue Ribbon and Us) both love this litter so much that we have decided to co-own another Frenchie together. We will be holding back one of these beautiful little girls together.

All of Layla’s French Bulldog Puppies in Texas are reserved. Our current reservation waiting list is to about Spring of 2021. You can get on that list and find out more information on our process by visiting our Puppy Application page.

Hona & Dillon had 2 beautiful blue frenchie babies on November 19, 2020. One little itty bitty boy a whopping 5.4 oz & a little girl an ounce larger than her brother.

It appears they are both blue sables like their momma but we will know better as they get older. They came out of the oven super active with a strong appetite ready to eat. That is what we as breeders LOVE to see in brand new puppies. The little boy did have crackly little lungs for the first 24 hrs but it did not affect his suckling or desire to eat so with an extremely close eye we watched over him and encouraged him to whine/cry as much as possible those first hours.

Crying helps them clear the remaining fluid left in their lungs. When pups are born naturally through the birth canal (like a human baby) most of that gets squeezed out during their entry into the world. During a c-section, they miss out on that step so the fluid tends to need to be circulated out. He did wonderfully and has been gaining weight steadily.

Hona, I’m so proud of my girl, has been an excellent mother. I cannot believe this is her first time. You’d think she has been doing this for years how well she is tending to her babies.

You can see the process from the early signs of labor to the new puppies in our short video below.

Here are a few adorable photos of their babies over the first week of their life.

For more puppies and photos, you can see our current Available French Bulldog Puppies Page.

Mamba & Dillion had 4 beautiful babies November 4th, 2020. Sadly 1 beautiful blue girl did not make it home with us, and w/in 24 hrs 1 little brindle girl, the smallest, had too much trouble clearing out the fluid from her lungs and crossed over the rainbow bridge.

Gratefully, the 2 remaining puppies, 1 blue male & 1 chocolate brindle female are doing well. The chocolate brindle female we call Masha, she came out ready to eat with a veracious appetite. Her brother, Magma, a little slower to get started. Not a great initial suckle but strong desire to eat. It took Magma a couple days to get going really well with gaining weight and eating strong.

They are now 2 weeks old and doing wonderfully. We have those beautiful little peepers open and are starting to become more active compared to last week but still spend all their time sleeping, eating, and crawling about to get comfortable. Both of these beautiful babies are reserved.

For more puppies and photos, you can see our current Available French Bulldog Puppies Page.

Blue french bulldog puppies are due just before Turkey Day on November 24th, 2020. Our girl Layla (co-owned with Blue Ribbon) and HRH Spock are having babies!!!

We co-own Miss Layla with Debbie from Blue Ribbon French Bulldogs in Joshua Texas and the gorgeous Sire HRH Nimoy’s Fascinating Mr. Spock is from HRH Frenchies in Justin Texas. We have had puppies sired by both Spock & his grandfather Frank. Let me tell you, they do not disappoint! We are very grateful for HRH Frenchies for allowing us to repeat this beautiful breeding.

We are expecting blues and blue fawns. The pups will be ready to go home around January 19th, 20201. The Vet confirmed 2-3 via sonogram, however, we will not know for sure until delivery day since ultrasounds are unreliable for an accurate puppy count with a canine pregnancy. We utilize ultrasounds to confirm pregnancy and do not have any need to do an x-ray as our dogs all receive c-sections. I don’t find a need to expose them to unnecessary radiation when we know our Vet will have an accurate count as they come out.

Hona & Dillion Have Been Bred!

Hona & Dillion Have Been Bred!

We are expecting french bulldog puppies around November 19th, 2020.

Blue French Bulldog Puppies Litter

This is Hona’s very first litter and I cannot be any more excited to see these babies! I have been waiting for, well ever, at least it feels like forever, to add the right solid blue female to our pack and this is the litter I am thinking I might actually get that keeper solid blue female! (fingers crossed) Miss Hona is a whopping 15 lbs soaking wet with a full belly of food on her heaviest day. She is a tiny little compact bully. No really, not like other frenchies you see where their owners say they are small and compact, I really truly mean it!

She and Dillion pair perfectly together because he is a nice solid little 18 lbs of French Beast! 🙂 So all of you on our reservations list… stay tuned because these frenchie babies are going to be absolutely the cutest things ever!

Mamba & Dillion Have Been Bred!

Mamba & Dillion Have Been Bred!

We are expecting french bulldog puppies around November 3rd, 2020.

This is a repeat breeding of their last litter. We had some gorgeous puppies that go round. There was a rainbow of French Bulldog Puppies. We had Blue, Lilac, Chocolate, & Fawn. Here are a few photos from the last litter they had together so you can get an idea of what to expect this litter.

She is now 2 weeks old and is doing well. Seeing how gorgeous she makes me very anxious to repeat this breeding. It also does make me sad that there was only 1 gorgeous baby as it;’s going to be so hard to let her go.

I had to go out of town to visit my grandmother and when I returned her eyes were open and she practically tripled in size. So much changes so fast at this stage of puppyhood. We are all so in love with her, no one wants to let her go. This is going to be a difficult decision.

Bazil and Steel welcomed a beautiful little cream girl June 30th, 2020.Cream French Bulldog Girl Puppy

Miss Bazil had one beautiful little girl around 9pm this evening, June 30th. I’m so very grateful for a healthy momma recovering and a healthy babe.

Texas Cream French Bulldog Puppy

I am a little sad there weren’t a couple more cream puffs to keep her company but this little girl is just perfect all on her own too.

Cream Frenchie Puppy

As of 5 am July 1st, Mom and baby girl are doing well.

While it seems like we have had quite a few French Bulldog Puppies so far this year, most of those litters are co-owned. Most years we are lucky to see a litter or two, but this year seems to be the year of the puppies. This will be the first year in a while where we have had litters that we do not co-own with other breeders. So far this year we have had one of those, that was Hula’s litter. She did a great job and is taking the rest of the year off. She is planned to have her very last litter next year and then she will be retired.

Before that was Mamba’s litter which we co-owned with Silver Hammer Frenchies in Justin, Tx. Our current 2 litters one with Layla, is co-owned with Deb from Blue Ribbon French Bulldogs in Joshua, Texas, and the other with Gala is co-owned with Page French from HRH French Bulldogs in Justin, Texas.

We are extremely grateful to have such wonderful puppies. Even though Hula’s litter put us through the ringer, we are grateful for the 5 healthy surviving puppies of the 7. We do have a few more planned litters both co-owned and all our own so stay tuned and keep an eye on the Planned French Bulldog Breedings page. This year is planning to be a busy one, but we will all will be taking a much needed break soon.

Sweety girl Gala (co-owned with Page French) and HRH Spock had their babies on April 29th, 2020!!! The pair granted us with 2 little girls & 4 little boys!!! Way to go Gala!

I could not have asked for a better first-time mom! She has been loving, considerate, and attentive to her babies since we arrived home.

This litter has been collar color-coded to keep track of everyone and ensure each pup was eating, gaining, and being closely monitored. I also hope it allows for our potential families to keep eye’s on their favorites a little easier.

Texas French Bulldog Puppies For Sale If you are interested in this litter you can check out the availability and process on our available french bulldog puppies for sale page.

Blue & Blue Fawn French Bulldogs Puppies in TexasOur sweet Miss Layla (co-owned with Blue Ribbon) and HRH Spock had their babies on April 14th, 2020!!! The blessed us with 2 gorgeous girls.

She had a gorgeous fat cobby blue female french bulldog, and an equally beautiful fat blue fawn female french bulldog girl.

Both girls are doing great and Momma has come around to her roll as a new momma wonderfully after a week of not being sure what the heck these things are.

Both girls have been reserved by fellow Texas families, and their new families are waiting for their going home date with much excitement and anticipation.

Depending on when you are reading this blog post, you can see more of their photos on our french bulldog puppies for sale page, or on our past french bulldog puppies pages under Layla’s Past Pups page.

Layla’s Having Babies!

Our sweet Miss Layla (co-owned with Blue Ribbon) and HRH Spock are having babies!!!

We co-own Miss Layla with our friend Debbie from Blue Ribbon French Bulldogs in Joshua Texas. Miss Layla is the 2nd girl we have co-own with Debbie. And of course, the gorgeous Sire HRH Nimoy’s Fascinating Mr. Spock is from HRH Frenchies here close by in Justin Texas. We have had puppies sired by both Spock & his grandfather Frank. Let me tell you, they do not disappoint! We are very grateful for HRH Frenchies for allowing us another of their wonderful studs for our girls.

We are expecting a litter of blues from these 2. The pups will be ready to go home around Mid-June. The Vet confirmed 2-3 via sonogram, however, usually we find there to be more come delivery day. With canine pregnancy ultrasounds, it’s not as easy to get an actual puppy count. We do it mainly to confirm pregnancy and do not have any need to do an x-ray as our dogs all receive c-sections. I don’t find a need to expose them to unnecessary radiation when we know our Vet will have a very accurate count come delivery day.

Hula 24 hrs prior to delivering her babies.

Hula loving on and tending to all 7 of her babies. Such an awesome momma.

Wow, ok, so let’s see if I can get through this as short and sweet as possible. I want to share the birth with y’all, but I am so sleep deprived right now it isn’t even funny. More than just a normal litter because these guys are trying to take me out with stress and anxiety.

So Hula’s litter arrived during the wee hours of Tuesday morning, Feb 18th. 7 beautiful babies. 3 girls and 4 boys. I was nervous, as usual, particularly because she went into active signs of labor a bit earlier than I was expecting. I’m usually a nervous wreck when my girls go under, but particularly when they seem a bit early, even if only by a day.

7 Tiny Frail French Bulldog Puppies

She was restless, her temp dropped below 98, she was nesting, and she had milk. For all these reasons we had to get in touch with our WONDERFULLY AMAZING Vet at 3:30 am. We had Hula up there by 4, and puppies were out by 4:30 am. Hula did wonderfully. What I did notice that concerned me, however, were the puppies. They were coming out 1 after another after another. She had 7!!! Tiny little Hula fit 7 babies in there and they looked pretty tiny and thin. Particularly 3 of them… so small, so frail, so thin. One little girl, in particular, was the smallest of the lot and the weakest. She did not want to wake up, she did not want to get all nice and pink like her siblings, she just did not want to be on the outside.

The last group shot of all 7 before Havana took a turn for the worse and left us. We were doing our best to have them nurse as much as possible for the colostrum.

So much so, on the ride home, she hitched a ride in my shirt to keep nice and toasty. I named her Havana. This allowed for my body to help keep her warm, and so that I was able to continuously stimulate her to wake up and get angry and breathing. My gut was telling me she was not going to make it. After so many years doing this, you develop instincts like that I suppose. I wanted to deny mine, I begged them to be wrong. She woke up by the time we arrived home, she vigorously ate, she seemed to be doing ok. Thin, but ok. I was relieved and we watched them like a hawk.

Well, even though they appeared to be eating properly, something was going on with her. Her poo was not what it should have been and I noticed one of the males, Han Zimmer, his poo was not looking the way it should be looking. Even though he was acting right, his poo concerned the hell out of me. I scheduled an appointment for the vet the following day but before we could get there sweet Havana passed away. We made it to the vet with 6 skinny but active puppies.

The Vet validated my concerns and we began tube feeding immediately. All my years of raising pups I have never had to tube feed before. I received a crash course, and it was not as terrifying as I imagined it prior to learning how to. So once we arrived home we noticed Han Zimmer acting odd… 🙁 very very odd and very reminiscent of his sister’s behavior. That same gut instinct struck me with such a hard and fast blow. I knew he was not going to make it. We kept him warm, kept him full, held him close, kept him clean, and prayed. We lost him less than 24 hrs later. I held him until he took his very last breath.

In those moments of panic, uncertainty, struggle, and pain, I once again questioned why in God’s name do I even do this. I’m pretty sure that night I vowed to quit raising Frenchies again… at least 3 or 4 times. I went to The Dark Place. We did not know what was killing our pups and I was terrified it was CHV. Obsessed with researching I dove in after we lost the first one and spoke to countless other breeders of all breeds that have had experience with it. It was pretty much a waiting game at that point.

I’ll spare you the rest of the small details but as of this post, I am feeling much more confident in their health as they have finally started to really come into their own.

We have 5 remaining puppies, Harley, Hilda, Harlo, Hova, & Han Solo. They are finally looking nice and plum as they should be. No more fatalities. Strong vigorous eaters. I am pretty happy with where they are now vs. where they were last week.

I just finished supplement feeding the pups to ensure they have received enough nutrition and hydration. This is pretty much the 24 hr scene around here this week.

The truth is, especially with big litters, you usually lose one or two. Normally the ones we lose don’t even make it home with us from the vet. When they do, it’s that much more difficult to watch them fade and eventually pass on.

In short, what I truly feel like is they came not just 24 hrs but closer to 48 hrs or more early and some of them just hadn’t been fully baked yet. For puppies, a couple of days early can be the difference between life & death.
